LAKE NAKURU NATIONAL PARK

This is unquestionably the "greatest ornithological spectacle on earth" with a congregation of an estimated 2 million flamingos and over 400 other bird species. There is also a variety of wildlife including the water buck, reedbuck, zebra, impala, gazelle, lion, leopard, buffalo and the white and black rhino.

Sarova Lion Hill Lodge:

This lodge is situated in Lake Nakuru National Park. Sarova Lion Hill offers a unique vantage point for viewing the lake's resident flamingo. Each of the 64 superbly appointed chalets with private secluded verandas enjoy views over the lake and the distance. Facilities include private WC and shower with hot and cold running water, private veranda and mosquito nets and electricity in all the rooms, Restaurant, bar with a large viewing deck overlooking Lake Nakuru, swimming pool, sauna, laundry service, medical clinic, curio and gift shop.

Lake Nakuru Lodge:

Situated on the lush, lower slopes of Mount Kenya at Nanyuki, the Mount Kenya Safari Club is set in over 100 acres of manicured lawns, ornamental ponds, streams and flower beds. Mount Kenya Safari Club has a total of 114 bedrooms. All bedrooms have private bathroom with shower, telephone, log fireplace. There is a choice of two restaurants, two bars, heated swimming pool, tennis court, horse riding, putting green, 9-hole golf course, bowls, croquet, trout fishing, art gallery, health and beauty center and club shops. At the Club, formal dressing is mandatory for dinner.
